About Wg Cdr Ajit Kakkar (Retd.)
Former Court-Martial Judge & Joint Judge Advocate General (Air) | Now Defending Those Who Serve
Few advocates understand military justice the way Wg Cdr Ajit Kakkar (Retd.) does, because few have seen it from the inside. Across 26 years in the Indian Air Force he sat as a Judge in Courts-Martial, prosecuted as Joint Judge Advocate General (Air), and advised commands as Deputy Command Judge Advocate. Today he stands on the other side of the room, defending the soldiers, sailors, airmen and veterans he once judged.
That rare dual perspective, the former military judge who now defends, is the foundation of his practice at Ajit Kakkar and Associates. Enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2012, he appears before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, the Central Administrative Tribunal, and Armed Forces Tribunals across the country, for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and paramilitary (CAPF) forces alike.
